Sometimes it's the simple “thank you” that hold the most power, bringing people closer together than anything else.

This season, we honour the women who’ve shaped us: our mothers, grandmothers, and all the mother figures who’ve nurtured, guided, and loved us unconditionally. In celebration of them, we’re proud to introduce a special collaboration with Whittard of Chelsea—a cherished English tea brand that shares our belief in the importance of family at the heart of everything.
In the weeks leading up to Mother's Day, we will be sharing 'Thank you' stories from our founders to the people of Whittard of Chelsea in Singapore. First up is Eslyn, brand manager for Whittard of Chelsea here in sunny Singapore. A dedicated mother to a fun-loving daughter and fiercely career-minded mum, juggling everything all at the same time, while not forgetting her role as a
daughter and a wife.

THREE GENERATIONS OF LOVE IN ONE PHOTO
|
Five years ago, we welcomed our baby girl into the world—and with her, I stepped into motherhood. I quickly learned it was a bittersweet journey, filled with challenges I never expected. In those early months, I found myself at my mum’s house, struggling with breastfeeding and exhaustion. Though she didn’t know much about breastfeeding, she never left my side. She made sure I was well-fed, sang to my baby (off-key but full of love), bathed her gently, and cared for her so that I could rest. Even now, when we visit, she takes over with joy—feeding, playing, and bathing my girl while I unwind. And without fail, she kisses her and says goodbye to her “Super Number One.” But Mum, did you know—you’re our Super Number One too? Thank you for your unconditional love and for showing me what it means to be a great mother.
